The Little Brown Farm is a micro-dairy in Western Washington, located on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound.

We make cheeses from goat and sheep milk from animals raised on our farm.

We love what we do. We love the animals, we love the cheese, we love our lives.

  1. I just found you after seeing your baby girl story on twitter. Oh my, I think I am in love~ We live in Woodinville and on Monday will pick up our first two baby lambs – Gracie and Clarabelle. They come from dairy stock – maybe one day…? Could I be any more excited? I think not. I can’t wait to go back and read your older posts! I love Whidbey and just may need to find an excuse to come see that darling baby goat-girl myself!
    Have a great weekend,

Hello, just found your blog after your comment on mine, turns out we are practically neighbors! Loved reading about your farm and the goats. Perhaps a visit sometime? I am attending culinary school at Skagit Valley College 🙂 I am constantly in awe of the abundance of local fruits & vegetables, dairy and everything else we have here, not to mention the beauty of the islands … so fortunate!

    • I would love to have you visit the farm. We’re still in ‘baby’ mode here. Within the next few weeks we will be converting to cheesemaking mode. You could come now and later – we sincerely enjoy visitors! 🙂
