To those out there that are sitting home alone, no turkey or stuffing or cranberry surprise.
To those that have no pumpkin pie (that’s too rich for the terminally dieting or has too much dairy for the lactose intolerant and vegans or wheat in the crust for the gluten-free).
To those that don’t have a table graced with a centerpiece grown in your own yard or designed by the talented craft store geniuses.
To those with no family squabbling in the kitchen or shush-ing in front of the tv.
To those that dread the holidays because they feel isolated and alone.
To those, I send love and the most comforting thought I can think of:
Tomorrow… is simply Friday.
Get through the day and know you ARE loved.
Today I’m giving thanks for all I have, every warm and fulfilling or even annoying (sometimes those end up the best) thing and remembering those that have so much less, after all it is Thanksgiving.
