We do love visitors to the farm. One of our largest objectives is to educate people about food, where it comes from and what it takes to make it.
We ask that people call ahead and schedule a time. We are quite busy on the farm and we don’t have staff. As much as we would love to give you a tour, we can’t push off important things like caring for our animals properly or cheesemaking or snuggling with Maggie (yes, that does take priority!).
If you don’t live nearby, I have some video clips I’ve taken as a tour of our facilities, but unfortunately videos cost extra. So here are a few photos to tide you over.
Soon we’ll have some baby pictures (in February). For now, just the milk parlor, where the girls get milked, and the cheese room, where we turn the milk into fine cheeses.
